One is fighting with her friends... I tell her figure it out - learn to forgive.

The other is excessively worried about going to 2nd grade. We don't finish first grade until TOMORROW. I saw that worry goes in a box - lock the box and don't open it until August.

time passes....

They are still in their same state. I tell them if I hear another word about either topic - one gets to memorize a verse about forgiveness ... and the other about being anxious. And - if that doesn't work - we will keep adding more verses until they "get it"!
