Turning 40 in a week

When I turned 39, I had that desire to just be TWENTY-NINE forever.

Well I think it's been a turning point year. I am proud to say I am turning 40. My thirties were great for many reasons - I had two beautiful girls; I got rid of a dead-beat spouse and reclaimed my self-esteem; I survived thyroid cancer and by God's grace I am still cancer free. Most important though - is that my relationship with the Lord has grown deeper. I no longer have this overwhelming desire to be in a relationship with a guy - but I am truly content and totally blessed with all that God has given me.

So for being 40 - bring it on! Another new decade with great things awaiting!!
